New Award – San Sebastian LAU HAIZETARA Coproduction Forum 2026

Sheffield DocFest will award one project at San Sebastian LAU HAIZETARA Coproduction Forum 2026, which will take place in September. The award consisting in 2 Full Industry Passes and a full waiver to apply for the MeetMarket 2027, to be held in June.

Sheffield DocFest is the UK’s leading documentary festival and one of the world’s most influential international markets for documentary projects.

They champion and present the breadth of documentary form – film, television, podcast, immersive and art – in the vibrant city of Sheffield each June.

In return, one selected project at Sheffield DocFest 2027 will receive an invitation to participate at the San Sebastian LAU HAIZETARA Coproduction Forum 2027 in San Sebastian. The winning team gains access to the training days and pitching, Market, one to one meetings and will compete, amongst other awards, for the best pitch Award, consisting on €5,000 for the best pitch.
