The documentary project “State of Immortality”, which will be taking part in the forthcoming edition of San Sebastian LAU HAIZETARA documentary Co-production Forum, chosen at DocsBarcelona

A result of the partnership between the LAU HAIZETARA Forum of San Sebastián with DocsBarcelona, the documentary project State of Immortality has been selected to take part in the forthcoming edition of Lau Haizetara, the documentary Co-production Forum, to be held in September 2026 as part of the 74th edition of the San Sebastián Festival.

A result of the partnership between the San Sebastian LAU HAIZETARA documentary Co-production Forum with DocsBarcelona, the documentary project State of Immortality has been selected to take part in the forthcoming edition of Lau Haizetara, to be held in September 2026 as part of the 74th edition of the San Sebastian Festival.

Produced by Henrik Underbjerg (Stray Dog Productions) and directed by Piotr Winiewicz, State of Immortality shows our passion to defeat death through Russian Cosmism, a century-old movement that influences today’s biohackers and longevity seekers. This isn’t just a film about how we can live forever, but also about what happens if we do it.

As part of its participation in the LAU HAIZETARA Forum, the team will be attending two packed days of workshops before the Forum, and they will take part in pitching sessions and One-to-One meetings. State of Immortality will also be competing, among others, for the EPE-IBAIA prize, worth 5,000 euros for the producer of the project.
