Lau Haizetara Forum selects the documentary projects for its 22ND edition

The Lau Haizetara Forum announces the fifteen documentary projects that will participate in this year’s edition, (21 – 23 September 2026, within the framework of the 74th San Sebastian Festival)

The call has received nearly 150 submissions, which confirms the interest for the LAU HAIZETARA Coproduction Forum, consolidated as one of the strategic and reference spaces for the development of the documentary with international projection.

Coming from different countries, Spain, France, Italy, Argentina, the United States, the United Kingdom, Palestine, Finland or Mexico, the selected projects reflect the diversity of views, formats and themes that characterize contemporary documentary cinema.

On 23 September, the teams will present their documentaries at Tabakalera to producers, broadcasters, platforms and other industry agents, with the aim of boosting their financing and/or co-production.
